Jordan Paladini Named Semi-Finalist

Pope John XXIII Regional High School congratulates senior Jordan Paladini, who has been named a semi-finalist in the 2017 New Jersey Scholars Program.  Jordan is the son of Dennis and Clare Paladini of Andover.

Only thirty-nine statewide are selected to participate in the New Jersey Scholars Program, a five-week, tuition-free residential program held this summer at the Lawrenceville School campus, Lawrenceville. Students will explore the topic The Great War Era: Cultural Splendor or the Collapse of Civilization from an inter-disciplinary perspective by participating in lecture and small-group seminars, completing extensive reading assignments, and pursuing research at world class libraries and museums.

As part of the selection process, Jordan will be interviewed on March 24, and the finalists will be named in early April.  The Pope John community wishes Jordan the best of luck in this prestigious endeavor.

Call Margaret Butler a renaissance woman. The Pope John XXIII Regional High School senior can talk politics, play a character on stage, score incredibly high on tests, perform science experiments, speak foreign languages, paint a picture, give her time to others, and the list goes on. So, there is no wonder why Butler received early acceptance to Harvard University on Tuesday night.
