Tip Fam Reigns Supreme!

On February 27, twenty-four teams, including a faculty team and two 8th grade teams, competed in Pope John XXIII Regional High School’s 4th Annual Volleyball Tournament and Bake Sale.  The winning team and the team with the best costumes were awarded pizza and bragging rights.

The seniors of team Tip Fam – Jack Peters, Tanner Depuyt, John Geba, Trevor Prime, Kristen Spetz, Matthew Tumminello, and Andy Ward – defeated 23 competitors on their way to victory.  The members of team Ped Farms, dressed as farm animals, received honors for best costumes.

The event raised over $882, which was donated to the upcoming PJ Olympics to be held in May.

Call Margaret Butler a renaissance woman. The Pope John XXIII Regional High School senior can talk politics, play a character on stage, score incredibly high on tests, perform science experiments, speak foreign languages, paint a picture, give her time to others, and the list goes on. So, there is no wonder why Butler received early acceptance to Harvard University on Tuesday night.
