Pope John XXIII Student-Athletes Sign Letters of Intent

On April 12, Spring Signing Day, Pope John XXIII Regional High School is proud to announce that four seniors signed National Letters of Intent (NLI), a binding agreement between a prospective student-athlete and a NLI member institution.

Danielle Line, daughter of Deborah and Steven Line of Stockholm, will participate in track and field at Bucknell University, PA; Abigail Post, daughter of Marinanci and Kevin Post of Wantage, will compete in cross country and track at Providence College, RI; Anna Campbell, daughter of Julia and Michael Campbell, Newton, will also participate in cross country and track at Wake Forest University, NC; and Bradly Mackie, son of Victoria Mackie of Sparta, will join the boys’ lacrosse team at Belmont Abbey College, NC.

The NLI program began in 1964 with seven conferences and eight independent institutions and now includes 650 Division I and Division II participating institutions.

The Pope John XXIII Regional High School senior can talk politics, play a character on stage, score incredibly high on tests, perform science experiments, speak foreign languages, paint a picture, give her time to others, and the list goes on. So, there is no wonder why Butler received early acceptance to Harvard University on Tuesday night.
